DeMott Machinery and Auction Company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team.
As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Duties:
Balance and maintain accurate ledgers Match purchase orders with invoices Monitor and enter expenses and receipts Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheets Prepare customer invoices and track payments Prepare monthly and quarterly tax reports Initiate and file sales tax reports in multiple states via internet Initial preparation of corporate tax returns Respond to notices from tax authorities
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years experience in sales taxes, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll and payroll reports Understanding of debits and credits and how financial statements work together Experience with data entry and record keeping Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Experience in payroll management Bachelor Degree in Accounting preferred Job Type:
